Licence
Catalog content (all pattern text, structure, and related metadata) is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). You may freely use, quote, and redistribute the catalog provided you attribute the source. The recommended attribution is “Agent Patterns Catalog — agentpatternscatalog.org”.
Privacy
No cookies, no third-party trackers, no fingerprinting, no Google Analytics, no advertising SDKs.Nothing is loaded from third-party domains except where you explicitly click out to GitHub, the upstream catalog, or a framework's docs.
The web server records standard access logs (URL, HTTP status, response size, anonymised IP, user-agent, referer) for operational purposes — diagnosing errors, rate-limiting abusive traffic, and capacity planning. Logs are not shared with third parties and are rotated on a short retention window.
The optional AI-backed chat (Compose view) sends your prompt to OpenAI for completion. Prompts are not stored by this site, but OpenAI's own retention policy applies once the request leaves our server. Do not paste secrets, PII, or proprietary information into the chat.
Why no analytics SDK? Tools like Google Analytics, Plausible-via-CDN, or Hotjar would require either consent UI (under GDPR) or a privacy-cost most readers don't want to pay for a reference site. We use server-side access logs for the same questions instead.
